I came back all refreshed and then got sick last week. :(. I am hoping we can all stay healthy for the rest of the year! Remember to wash hands before and after school, drink plenty of water, get enough rest and exercise, and eat healthy foods.
Math-
The kids worked hard at money and now we are on to telling time.
Reading-
The students are full swing into the Daily 4 and loving it. Every day we work on "Read to Self", "Read with Someone", "Word Work", "Read with Technology", or "Write about Reading".
Social Studies-
Students learned about Dr. Martin Luther King's life and dream.
Student completed ancestor projects and will be working on country research reports soon.
Art-
Tomorrow we will paint t-shirts of our hopes and dreams.
Garden-
Students harvested our first cucumber, learned about decomposers and compost, and watered and planted in the garden.
P.E.
Uncle Keith continues to lead our class in all sorts of fun games and sports including soccer, scooters, basketball, tag, and relay races to name a few!
